Landscape-Led Natural Play Design from Record RSS

Todays children love the opportunity to explore the natural features around them. This encourages play to be spontaneous, providing a flexible rather than rigid approach and allowing for new emotions to be experienced.

Our experienced and creative design team take great care to ensure that your play area compliments and enhances the natural environment. We take into account a number of factors before beginning to design any play or sports area. We select only products that work with the surrounding area and help produce a bespoke design and unique experience for the end user. We always consider the natural elements, the community needs, the age of the potential user and accessibility for all abilities.

Our free planning and design service can assist you to plan and visualise your play area from concept to completion.

At Record RSS we pride ourselves on providing:

• A Landscape-led natural play design philosophy
• Dynamic items that challenge and thrill today’s youngsters
• Bespoke themed ideas and colour co-ordination options
• The most extensive range of products available in the UK

Record RSS and Halcrow Partnership

Record RSS and Halcrow, the leading planning, design and management services company, work closely to enhance the play value of future schemes. By incorporating natural play and responding to the context of each site through landscape design the aim is to deliver play spaces that are unique, exciting, thought provoking and with a sense of belonging.

Doug Belfield, Sales Director for Record RSS commented: “This is an excellent partnership for Record RSS. We had been looking to work closely with an organisation that not only had the skills and knowledge to add soft landscaping to our existing play space designs but a company that is dedicated and enthusiastic towards play.”

Paul Rabbitts, Landscape Architect for Halcrow, added: “We believe that huge value can be added to play projects by incorporating landscaping features. We are pleased that in Record RSS we have found a company that also has this opinion and shares our enthusiasm and passion for creating outstanding play schemes.
