Our three Platform slides have been designed to cater
for children of all ages and abilities. They are designed in three chute
lengths: The Toddler Slide – 3.3m, The Junior Slide – 4.4m
and The Senior Slide – 5.9m.
Record Platform Slides are arguably the strongest on the market and consist
of all-welded steel frames, guard-rails and access ladders with slip-resistant
chequer-plate landing and tread. All units have single piece stainless steel
chutes with a mirror-effect finish and decelerating run-out sections.
We also manufacture three sizes of Embankment Slides with similar chute lengths
and ergonomics to our platform slides.
Record RSS Embankment Slides are designed to be installed
into well-consolidated mounds or slopes of 35º from the horizontal. Any
step access to the slide should be a minimum of one metre from the side
of the slide so the users’ free space is not compromised – see
diagram below.
In most circumstances we recommend that surfacing to the entry and exit will
suffice as these slides are only 125mm above ground level.
