The placement of manufactured looking play equipment can sometimes overwhelm and focus play in only one location. Natural play spaces can stimulate a child’s imagination and engage their sense of curiosity. They explore their physical surroundings to gain a sense of freedom and discovery. However, children are finding it more difficult to find these ‘natural’ play areas, especially in towns and cities.
